Instructions for filling out application:

1. Name:
All animals submitted for registration must be registered with the breeder's (owner of dam at time of service) herdname or if breeder is unknown must be registered with the current owner's herdname.  Name must include the full herdname (no abbreviations) with the given name.  Example: Magic Wind Farm Billy Boy.  The name must begin with the herdname.

2. Breed: Write the breed of the animal.  If a goat is out of parents that are not of the same breed it will be registered as Experimental.  If the parents are unknown write the breed that best describes that animal.  It will be registered as a grade of that breed.

3. Sire: Write the full name and registration number of the sire.  The owner's name must be included.  If the sire is not registered with IDGR send a photocopy of his registration if possible.  If the sire is not owned by the breeder a signed service memo must accompany the application.

11. Breeder: Write the name and address of the owner of dam at the time of breeding.

12. Transfer: If the goat was sold after birth write the name and address of the new owner, including the date of sale.  A $2.00 transfer fee applies if the application is being sent in by the new owner.

13. Signature:  All applications must be signed by the owner at birth that the information provided is correct.  If the birth owner is unknown,  the application must be signed by the owner who is submitting the goat for registry.

14.  Remember there is a $1.00 service charge for incomplete applications.  It helps everyone if applications are completely (as much as you know) and clearly filled out so they can be processed quickly and easily.  Call if you need help.  Thanks!
